Tala was the second-born of the Timers, and had a somewhat slow start to life activities compared to her sister. But she quickly made up for that and has been a rocket dog in her speed of learning and activity. She was a snuggler as a newborn and continues to love everyone she sees, human or canine. She has been a whirlwind of action growing up and has put her quick learning to good use. She has already shown great interest in working both sheep and ducks, took immediately to barn hunt, and is a very enthusiastic tracker. The sky is the limit for this little girl and it's been a fun ride so far! |

Competition began on her 6 month birthday when she earned her first scentwork Q. Her first title came in October '22 when she ran her track in 5 minutes to earn her TD. She is always willing (demanding!) to train and is doing well in all she tries. Tala finished her Novice Scentwork (SWN) title in March '23 and added several more scentwork titles in April and June. Those are coming fast and furious! She is also smokin' the barn hunt rings, with nearly all her runs earning High in Class. She's now in Master and earned her 1st Crazy 8s title in 7 runs. |

At her first National Specialty in May 2023, with he was first out of 23 dogs in Novice B rally! She loves to show herself off! Her first weekend out in conformation in January '23, she earned 2 Best of Breeds and her first 3 points. She finished in July '24 with three majors. Agility is quite a ride - Tala LOVES to go fast and that has made handling timing a challenge, but she is a blast to run and we will do amazing things as we grow as a team. |
