Montee was the littlest boy in the litter but from the beginning had the cutest face and drew a lot of attention, so he lived up to his namesake Ryan Braun (the National League MVP in 2011). His small size balanced out his big attitude very nicely.

Montee grew into a full-energy, happy boy who can bruise with enthusiasm. In fall 2013, earning his TD (Rosie's first tracking dog!), RA and BN all in a month! His CD and RE came on the same day in June 2014. In October '16 they finished their RAE2 and their TDX on successive days. Just 2 weeks later they passed their VST test too! Montee became the second Sensation Champion Tracker!

Agility was a bit of a saga, with his drive for speed sometimes getting in the way of bars staying up - but progress was made, with OA, NAJ & XF titles earned before his retirement. In November 2019, Montee earned his RM2 title AND became just the second Tervuren in the US to earn the RACH - Rally Champion! He continued to rack up rally titles including the RACH2. And in October '20, he earned his Started Sheep title (HSAs)!

Montee beat nasal carcinoma in 2021 and continued to run in several sports, including agility, rally and scent work. He was lost suddenly in November '24 at the age of 13+, leaving behind a treasure chest of awards and a whole lot more memories. Fly free Montee, all the bars will stay up for you now!
