Essie was Nancy's much-debated pick of puppies to take home to daddy Keen and housemate Pip the corgi. She has continued her outgoing sweetness and love of all people and dogs. Essie & Pip have become fast friends,with lots of other friends yet to meet! Herding is a natural activity for Essie, and she started her competitive career in summer '24, earning her PT on October 5.

Essie had good early success in the conformation ring with both majors earned in March 2025, and she shows excellent potential in herding. She has earned her Rally Novice title and is training in scent work as well.
