Axey was another of the lap puppies of the Baseball litter, aptly living up to his name since he was always the last baby awake (he was named for John Axford, the Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher who finished off the last inning). He loved to poke his nose in our faces and give a big puppy grin. |

The little teal-collared boy traveled to Germany with a friend of ours to join Ulrike Stegmann, who just 24 hours earlier said goodbye to Axey's great uncle Till. This little guy has some big pawprints to fill, but he's definitely up to the task. He's got a great attitude and nothing fazes him. |

| Axey started his Schutzhund training and did so well that he passed his BH test on the day he turned 15 months. The judge said the test was too easy for him! |  |
