Till was the very first Lifer into the world, and he made it clear he was in charge from the beginning. He carried the air of superiority with him as a baby, always a little bit better than his siblings. We knew early on this pup was going to take his job seriously. So when Ulrike emailed about American Tervuren puppies, we thought of the Tealboy. But could we stand to send one of our babies across the ocean? After being assured by a friend who had lived in Europe, we sent him on his way in his Sherpa with Ulrike - and a better decision could not have been made!

Ulrike and Till became an awesome team, marching confidently through all three Schutzhund (VPG) titles. He also passed his FH test (advanced tracking test) with flying colors. Ulrike has a large fenced area at home to play in, and a 6 acre field in Dortmund and a home in the Sauerland where they go on weekends and vacations. We wish we could have seen them more often, but we know they had fun promoting the well-put together Tervuren in Europe.

Till continued his stellar ways by completing his FH2 title - an advanced tracking title that required him to do a track that was 1 1/4 miles long! It is the most difficult tracking test a dog can attempt, and he passed it with flying colors on his first try!

Till was diagnosed with cancer in early fall of 2011, and spent his last days trying to get Ulrike to play with him. He went to the Bridge on October 14, the first Sensation Terv to leave us - but one who leaves a wonderful legacy. He wouldn't get to meet Ulrike's new addition from the Baseball litter, but he will be guiding that new pup in spirit. Godspeed Till.
